How can I get rid of (and stop) black mould on my wooden front door?

With all the bad weather we have been having lately, my front door has started to get like black mould on the inside. I can wipe it off but it keeps returning. How can I stop this?

Find out what the source is first, then treat it. You must have water leaking from the roof or gutter and it is permeating the door. This mold is on the inside? Inside the house?
